In the 2021 edition of the Euronext Lisbon Awards, Morais Leitão was once again recognised with the award for Most Active Law Firm in Equity.
This award distinguishes the law firm that is the most active in equity, considering the amounts and the number of issues of listed shares in the markets managed by Euronext Lisbon.
In addition to this award, Morais Leitão was also involved in the winning transaction in the category "Issuer of the Year", the capital increase of EDP Renováveis, one of the largest capital markets transactions in Portugal in recent years.
For Eduardo Paulino, partner and head of the firm's Capital Markets team, this award "proves the affirmation and public recognition of a team of excellence, pioneer and innovator in the development of the Portuguese capital market".
