Joana Alves de Abreu (Energy), Margarida Torres Gama (Insurance) and Luís do Nascimento Ferreira (European and Competition) were the lawyers from Morais Leitão who won the 40 Under Forty awards, attributed yesterday by Iberian Lawyer magazine, in a ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lisbon.
In addition to the individual titles, Tiago Geraldo, João Lima Cluny and Duarte Santana Lopes were also awarded in the collective team category for their work over the past year in the area of White Collar Crime.
Last year's model was repeated. There are 40 awards, distributed between 20 teams and 20 individual lawyers. These awards distinguish young legal talent working in law firms or legal departments of companies under the age of 40.
For Nuno Galvão Telles, managing partner of Morais Leitão, "we are specially proude of these awards, for the value they give to generational renewal and to brilliant lawyers who give us great confidence in the continuity of our institution".
