“1ºst Commercial mediation course & "mediation advocacy’” sponsored by Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva

The “1ºst Commercial mediation course & ‘Mediation advocacy’” organised by the Law Faculty of the Nova University of Lisbon and the Alternative Means of Dispute Resolution Lab. takes place on December 9, 10, 12 and 14. It is the first course of this kind organised in Portugal with the main focus on lawyers and not as much on intermediaries.

Commercial mediation is seen as a complementary area to the traditional ways of commercial litigation; it is an area in which dispute resolution lawyers can development their practice.

The course has as main speaker Prof. Jeremy Lack, lawyer and certified mediator/intermediary by the “International Mediation Institute". It takes place at the Nova University of Lisbon.
