António Pinto Leite was the guest on Economic TV’s “Right to talk”. He analysed the State Budget for 2012, the austerity policy and juridical reform.
In his statements António Pinto Leite emphasized that if "some measures are not taken, the country may break" and that ten years ago Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva took "some essential measures to spread risk, namely, by betting on a set of different practice areas in order to guarantee a conscious and sustainable flawless growth into the immeasurable ambition of being the major law firm of the country."
Asked about the reform of the justice system, António Pinto Leite stated that the actual system of advocacy and of magistracy required change because it seems that "we belong to a system that is out of our control and does not produce results."
