Claudia Santos Cruz participates in the Biennial Conference of the IBA’s Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law (SEERIL) 2022 taking place in Milan from 16 – 18 May 2022. The main theme of the conference is “Resource development at a crossroads”.
Claudia will be moderating a panel looking at the consequences of the trend against funding oil and gas projects which has contributed to commodity price volatility and heightened concerns regarding energy supply and security in the mid-to-long term.
Claudia will be joined on the panel by leading global Oil & Gas companies and OPEC who will explore the balancing act of keeping the oil and gas industry healthy and stable in an era of transition. Claudia is head of the Oil & Gas practice group at ML and an officer of the IBA Oil & Gas Committee.
