A colloquium regarding the new competition law will take place on 23 November in Lisbon under the organisation of CEDIPRE - Center for Public Law and Regulatory Studies of the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra, the director of which is Pedro Costa Gonçalves, partner of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, in association with CAPDC - Portuguese Competition Lawyers Circle and Competition Commission of ICC Portugal.
Carlos Botelho Moniz and Joaquim Vieira Peres, partners of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, will be present. Carlos Botelho Moniz as CAPDC’s president will speak in the opening session and then in the first session “The competition law reform - an inside view”.
Joaquim Vieira Peres will participate in the third session regarding “Merger Control in the new competition law”.
