Conference | Accession of Ukraine to the European Union: what do we need for a successful enlargement?

The Portuguese Association for European Law (APDE – Associação Portuguesa de Direito Europeu), chaired by Carlos Botelho Moniz, partner at Morais Leitão, and the Instituto de Estudos Políticos – Universidade Católica Portuguesa, together with the Ukrainian Embassy in Portugal will be hosting a one-day conference to discuss the new enlargement of the European Union (EU).

The conference, which took place on 20 February at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, was part of APDE's 40th anniversary commemorations and it was celebrate the 20 years of the largest EU enlargement in the European history.
