Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva sponsored the conference "Europe before the challenges of Spain and Portugal" organised by the Portuguese students at the College of Europe, that occurred on April 28-29.
This event was part of Iberian Week 2013-2014 that aimed to promote understanding among different nationalities. This tradition that having taken place for years reflects the cultural diversity of our continent.
Alejo Vidal-Quadras Roca, Vice-President of the European Parliament, Joaquín Almunia Amann, Vice-Presidente of the European Commission, and Miguel Poiares Maduro, Minister for Regional Development, representing the Portuguese Republic, among others participated in the conference.
