Eduardo Paulino in an interview with Channel Now about the delisting of Reditus from the Lisbon Stock Exchange

Eduardo Paulino, partner at Morais Leitão, talks to Channel Now about the delisting of Reditus from the Lisbon Stock Exchange.

The oldest technology company listed on the Lisbon stock exchange will cease to be listed as of 16 September. The decision, taken by Euronext, comes after successive postponements in the release of results, initially for 2021, followed by 2022 and 2023.

For the lawyer, this is not a ‘typical situation’ for a listed company to be delisted in this way and ‘the last time something like this happened was when BES was resolved and the shares were delisted’

Regarding whether Reditus shares can continue to be traded outside the regulated market, Eduardo Paulino says that ‘Reditus shares, from the moment of delisting, will continue to be freely tradable and negotiable outside the stock exchange, as they were today.’
