On 13 November, Morais Leitão is hosting the pre-launch event of the Think-Tank International WoMenX in Business for AI (IWIB4AI), founded by Tatiana Caldas-Löttiger.
This meeting will take place as part of the WebSummit conference, and its purpose is to promote an open discussion on the importance of Ethics in Artificial Intelligence in business.
The conversation will feature speakers Tatiana Caldas-Löttiger (Legal, Regulatory & AI Ethics Advisor), Nicole Fortunato (Managing Associate, Morais Leitão) and Paulo Marques (TUMO Coimbra and Feedzai Founder).
The reason for this action is due to the concern that many organisations may run a legal risk, the possibility of breaking the law, an organisational risk, the possibility of losing employees or the risk of breaking their good reputation when using artificial intelligence resources.
IWIB4AI derives from International Women In Business (IWIB), a non-profit organisation, is a women's business network born under the aegis of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in 2018.
Today, IWIB is a non-profit organisation that’s currently committed to the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to continuing Education, Female Empowerment, Cultural Intelligence, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility and Female Engagement in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
