Filipe Vaz Pinto elected to the Under-40 Coordinating Commision of the Portuguese Association of Arbitration

Senior associate Filipe Vaz Pinto was one of the lawyers elected to the new Coordinating Commision of the Portuguese Association of Arbitration. Created in September 2011, the Under-40 Commission aggregates the young associates of the Portuguese Association of Arbitration .
Filipe Vaz Pinto is a member of the litigation and arbitration team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, working essentially in arbitration proceedings and related litigation.He has acted as counsel in domestic and international arbitrations either ad hoc or under major institutional rules, in a variety of industry sectors, including aviation, banking, construction, defense, energy, food and beverage, infrastructures, insurance, media and advertising, mining, public-private partnerships, transfers of technology and trusts. He has also acted as administrative secretary to Arbitral Tribunals.
Filipe is also a member of the board of the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Lisbon Commercial Association.
