Forty under 40 Awards 2021: Diana Ribeiro Duarte, Ricardo do Nascimento Ferreira and the Banking & Finance team recognized

Diana Ribeiro Duarte and Ricardo do Nascimento Ferreira, lawyers at Morais Leitão, won two individual Forty under 40 awards yesterday.

Diana Ribeiro Duarte, a senior lawyer in the Corporate and M&A department, was distinguished in the Private Equity category as the best Iberian lawyer under the age of 40. Ricardo do Nascimento Ferreira, partner of the Litigation and Arbitration department, was distinguished in the Life Sciences practice area.

In the team awards, Morais Leitão's Banking & Finance department was recognised as the best team in this area ("Banking & Finance - Team").

The Forty Under 40 awards recognises the best lawyers under the age of 40 in Portugal and Spain. They are awarded by Iberian Lawyer, the legal market information magazine for the Iberian and Latin American markets. At the ceremony held yesterday in Madrid at the Westin Palace Hotel, 40 awards were given to the 20 best lawyers and the 20 best legal teams under 40.
