Francisca Costa Gonçalves lectures on non-contractual liability and the procedural alternative

Francisca Costa Gonçalves will give a lecture on "The Litigation of Extra-contractual Liability and the Procedural Alternative", as part of the 1st Postgraduate Course on Civil Liability of the Public Administration, organised by the Institute of Legal and Political Sciences.

Our associate will analyse the particularities associated with the action for public non-contractual civil liability (namely, for the exercise of the administrative function) and, on a different level, the apparent impossibility, in the Portuguese legal system, of the Administration awarding compensation for non-contractual civil liability by administrative means (an area in which exceptional cases of awarding compensation by alternative means will be analysed).
