The event addressed the growing challenges of balancing security, privacy and productivity in the current digital and remote working context. Among the topics discussed were the legal frameworks for employee monitoring, data protection and privacy laws in various jurisdictions, the need for employee consent for monitoring practices, the regulation of surveillance cameras and tracking devices in various industries, and the particularities of monitoring remote employees.
