Francisco de Sousa da Câmara will attend the first day of the "II Congress of Tax Law" organised jointly by the publisher Almedina and IDEFF, with the support of the Order of Chartered Accountants. The main theme this year being the "Taxation of the Company". The Congress, divided into eight thematic panels takes place on 11 and 12 October 2011 at the Casino Lisboa.
A specialist in tax law at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, Francisco de Sousa da Câmara will be present on the first day of the congress, participating in a panel dedicated to "Taxation of Corporate Groups."
He has also actively worked in the areas of transfer pricing, in both the drafting of agreements and litigation before the Tax Authorities and Tax Courts; the taxation of derivatives and financial products; securatisation, and the structure of international operations using the International Business Center of Madeira. Tax litigation also plays a significant role in his professional activities, where he leads a team of lawyers with over two hundred judicial and administrative cases, dealing with a wide range of tax issues.
