Inês F. Neves and Nuno Peres Alves take part in the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition

Inês F. Neves and Nuno Peres Alves took part as judges in the Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition, Europe's largest human rights moot court.

This is the only European moot court held in English at the European Court of Human Rights, organised by ELSA's International Board (IB), in partnership with the Council of Europe and the Court itself. The event gives law students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of human rights and to simulate real cases in one of the most important international courts.

This year, ELSA Portugal, of which Morais Leitão is a gold partner, took a leading role by organising a Regional Round, which took place at the Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique and the Tribunal da Relação do Porto, bringing together teams of students from all over Europe for high-level legal disputes.
