Inês F. Neves is a speaker at the symposium "Effective DMA Enforcement: between opportunities and Challenges"
The symposium Effective DMA Enforcement: between Opportunities and Challenges will take place on November 22 and 23 in Brussels. It will be organized by the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance, the Hertie School Centre for Digital Governance and the University of Trento, with the support of the free speech organization ARTICLE 19.
Lawyer Inês F. Neves will take part as a speaker in the fourth session of the event on "No enforcement without representation: how participatory democracy can strengthen the Digital Markets Act". Pointing out the importance of collaborative and participatory enforcement as a requirement for the legitimacy and acceptability of the regulatory framework inherent in the Digital Markets Regulation, the lawyer will explore ways to increase dialogue and deliberation in the enforcement of the DMA.
This symposium will also be attended by jurists and academics with recognized expertise in the field, as well as members of the European Commission for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, the Directorate-General for Competition and the European Data Protection Supervisor, as well as national competition authorities.
