Inês F. Neves to participate in the II Ibero-American Congress on Law and Digital Technologies

Inês F. Neves will be a speaker at the 2nd Ibero-American Congress on Law and Digital Technologies. The event, entitled 'Rule of Law and Digital Transition', will be held on 28 and 29 November at the Noble Auditorium of the Law Faculty of the University of Minho.

Inês F. Neves will take part in the first panel on 28 November at 9.30, entitled 'Pluralism and Media Freedom - Challenges to the Rule of Law in the Face of Digital Transition'. Her presentation will explore the relationship between the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the European Media Freedom Act, and in particular how they contribute to pluralism and media freedom in a digital context.

This conference, promoted by JusGov (Justice and Governance Research Centre) and CitDig (Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Digital Citizenship and Technological Sustainability), aims to analyse the challenges facing the rule of law in the digital transition. The approach will be based on the four criteria defined by the European Commission to assess the situation of the rule of law in each Member State.
