On 7 October, the book ‘Direito Marítimo de Moçambique: Colectânea de Legislação’ was launched. The event, which took place at the CELO Store in Maputo, was organised by MDR Advogados, in partnership with Morais Leitão and Escolar Editora, and stood out as an important milestone for the Mozambican legal sector.
The opening session was attended by Tiago Arouca Mendes, Managing Partner of MDR Advogados, followed by a brief introduction to Maritime Law in Mozambique, presented by Paula Duarte Rocha, partner at MDR Advogados, and Claudia Santos Cruz, partner at Morais Leitão. The closing remarks were given by João de Almeida Felizarda Guilherme, Presiding Judge of the Maritime Court of Maputo City.
The event ended with a cocktail, providing those present with an opportunity to socialise and network.
