Luís Roquette Geraldes, Partner at Morais Leitão, will be one of the speakers at the Building The Future 2025 event, participating in the panel Europe's Edge: Redefining Innovation in a Protectionist Era, to be held on 19 February at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion in Lisbon.
The discussion, part of the Startup World Stage, will also include Diogo Mónica (Haun Ventures and Anchorage Digital), Cristina Fonseca (Indico Capital Partners) and Sam Rhea (Cloudflare), and will be moderated by Fátima Caçador, editor-in-chief of SAPO TEK.
In a context of growing trade and economic tensions, the panel will explore how Europe can strengthen its value proposition in the innovation ecosystem, fostering research, scalability, unicorns and attracting investment. The debate will address government and business strategies to promote emerging technologies, intellectual property and sustainability in a scenario of global competition.
