The MLGTS Conference Cycle, coordinated by José Manuel Galvão Teles, is an initiative that counts on the participation of important speakers known both in Portugal and internationally for their professional activities in the areas of justice, politics and journalism. It has been a meeting point to debate current issues in these areas.
Themes such as the “Public Prosecutor’s Legitimacy and Structure” (1st Session – 31 March), “Criminal Investigation and Action” (2nd Session – 7 April), “The exercise of Criminal Action and the Portuguese Judicial System” (Workshop – 26 April) were the first themes in an intense public debate.
The 4th session takes place on 28 April at 6:00 p.m. in the João Morais Leitão Auditorium. “Ministry or Mystery?” will be the theme in debate.
Presiding will be Dr. Alberto Martins (Minister of Justice) and Dr. Jorge Sampaio (former President of the Portuguese Republic) who will close the session and the conference cycle, speaking about his personal insights on the future of the Portuguese legal system.
