Mozambique will host a conference aimed at bringing the nine countries of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) closer to economic issues, promoting a market of 274 million people.
This will be the 1st Economic Conference of the CPLP Market, to be held on May 9 and May 10 at the Indy Village, in Maputo.
The CPLP Business Council intends to stimulate and facilitate the business environment and create, in small steps, a market where there is more free movement of people, goods, capital and services within the space of the CPLP.
To this end, and through this initiative, the CPLP Business Council intends to present concrete proposals to the Governments with well-defined targets: investment protection, double taxation, business visas and harmonization of the creation of foreign capital companies.
Henriques, Rocha & Associados (HRA), represented by Fabrícia de Almeida Henriques and Paula Duarte Rocha, and Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados (MLGTS), represented by Duarte Santana Lopes, will join the panel of speakers.
