MLGTS establishes Instituto Miguel Galvão Teles (IMGT), an institute to develop academic and formative initiatives for the promotion of scientific knowledge in the areas of law and philosophy.
The official launch of IMGT is scheduled for early next year, but some initiatives have already been released under its umbrella, namely the award Miguel Galvão Teles, together with the Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa and Associação Académica da Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa.
IMGT will be responsible for the management of MLGTS’ relationship with universities and other academic and training centres and, in addition, will organise conferences, seminars and other events.
The Institute will also be responsible for the development of the internal training plan of MLGTS.
MLGTS aims, with this initiative, to honour the memory of Miguel Galvão Teles.
