Magda Fernandes participates in the III National Congress on Insolvency and Recovery organized by Debates & Discourses

Magda Fernandes renews her participation in the III National Congress on Insolvency and Recovery which this year focuses on the theme “Managing the Crisis, between Insolvency and Recovery”.

The debate participants come together to discuss the pressing issues of society. This year the initiative regards questions such as “Is the Portuguese insolvency regime prepared to face these challenges?”, “Have we already instruments capable of dealing with the situation?”; “Will it be necessary to create new measures?”, amongst others.

Magda Fernandes analyzes the question about “CIRE recovery. Pandemic without pandemonium ”.

The panel includes the presence of Paulo Valério, partner of VFA, David Sequeira Dias, partner of the law firm Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho, Ana Filipa Conceição, professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Jorge Calvete, partner of Causa & Feito, José Mota Gomes, member of the board of directors of the CAAJ, Sandra Medeiros, director of Revitalization at IGFSS, Micaela Afonso, partner at Abreu Advogados and Judge Fátima Reis Silva.

Given the circumstances arising from the pandemic context, the event moves to digital taking place on May 22th on the online platform ZOOM.
