Margarida Lima Rego is elected to the Presidential Council of the International Association of Insurance Law (AIDA - Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances).
Created in 1960, AIDA World is a non-profit international association with the aim of promoting and developing collaboration among its members and enhancing the study and knowledge of insurance law.
AIDA World also aims to propose the adoption of insurance measures at the national or international level leading to the harmonization of insurance law or means for insurance dispute resolution.
The AIDA Presidential Council is comped by the President, Honorary Presidents, up to four Vice Presidents, the Chairmen of the Working Parties and a maximum of 25 councillors.
Members of the Presidential Council are elected for a term of four years, except for Honorary Presidents.
