Mariana Pedrosa da Fonseca awarded the Teresa Rosmaninho Prize - Women's Human Rights

The Portuguese Association of Women Lawyers has awarded the Teresa Rosmaninho Prize to the study "Medical criminal liability in the practice of gynecology. Which way forward for gynecological abuse as Gender Violence", by trainee lawyer Mariana Pedrosa da Fonseca. This article honored the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

This work follows the recent awareness of the phenomenon of mistreatment in the practice of female reproductive medicine, helping to broaden the discussion in the field of gynecology, in a proposal for dialogue between doctors and lawyers.
