As part of the Mediation Course in Cape Verde, organised by the Fundação Direito e Justiça and by Instituto Superior de Ciências Jurídicas e Sociais, with the support of the Commercial Arbitration Centre and the Cape Verde Ministry of Justice, Mariana Soares David is taking on the role of trainer.
The senior lawyer from Morais Leitão joins Joana Campos Carvalho (Nova School of Law) to teach the course "Mediation in Cape Verde", which is based on nine modules:
Module I - The dynamics of conflict
Module II - Negotiation
Module III - Introduction to mediation
Module IV - Mediation law in Cape Verde
Module V - The mediation process
Module VI - Mediation in practice - simulating processes
Module VII - Mediation clauses
Module VIII - Judges and lawyers in mediation
Module IX - Ethics in mediation
The course will run from 9th to 13th October.
