Luís Heleno Terrinha wins the Miguel Galvão Teles award. Besides this award, the judging panel also gave special merit prizes. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 16 March in the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (FDL).
The paper "Da Sociedade da Constituição à Constituição da Sociedade – O constitucionalismo societal e os seus contributos para a compreensão do Direito Constitucional como sistema comunicativo mundial" by Luís Heleno Terrinha was the winner. The special merit prizes were given to “A Configuração do Princípio da Proporcionalidade e a sua Aplicação na Ponderação de Normas de Direitos Fundamentais: a Fórmula da Proporcionalidade” by Matheus Passos Silva and “O Risco da Tutela Multinível dos Direitos Fundamentais” by Tiago Rolo Martins.
Fourteen papers from bachelor, master and doctoral students were presented in the contest. These three papers will be published by the Student Association of FDL.
This prize is connected with the AAFDL and Instituto Miguel Galvão Teles. The judging panel consisted of Jorge Miranda, Miguel Nogueira de Brito and Rui Patrício.
