Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva lawyers among the founding members of the Criminal Law Forum

Rui Patrício and João Matos Viana are two of the founding members of the Criminal Law Forum – Association of Criminal Law Lawyers, launched officially on May 30, 2012,  at a ceremony that took place at the  District Council of Lisbon. The main goal of the association is to debate criminal law practice issues, criminal procedure, prison law and general criminal law practice.

The Criminal Law Forum brings together well known Portuguese criminal lawyers. Its creation was justified due to the “growth of criminal investigations and the large number of citizens accused”.

Rui Patrício, partner of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles Soares da Silva and coordinator of one of the litigation and arbitration teams, will also be a member of the board of the association.
