Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva supports the VIII Congress for Commercial Arbitration

The Arbitration Council of the Centre for Commercial Arbitration of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce organises on the 10 and 11 July 2014 the “VIII Congress for Commercial Arbitration” dedicated to the theme “Arbitral Courts and State Courts” sponsored, once again, by Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva (MLGTS).

MLGTS partner António Sampaio Caramelo will take part during the second day on the panel dedicated to “The Recognition and Execution of Arbitral Sentences”.

In addition on the 2nd day in the afternoon,  the Sub-40 Session takes place with the participation of the senior associate Sofia Vaz Sampaio. In an “Oxford Union” style debate, Sofia Vaz Sampaio will defend in favour of the question “Do we really want the domestic arbitration to be like the international arbitration?”.

Filipe Vaz Pinto, MLGTS partner and member of the Portuguese Arbitration Association Sub-40 Coordination Committee, will make the closing speech of the Congress.
