Morais Leitão advised NOS on its agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of Claranet Portugal, a leading technology company specialising in the modernisation and management of critical applications and 24x7 infrastructure, for €152 million.
Morais Leitão's multidisciplinary team was led by partners Jorge Simões Cortez and Gonçalo Fleming, with the participation of Catarina Brito Ferreira, Ana Isabel Seabra, Inês Magalhães Correia and Maria Cortes Martins (corporate), Vasco Stilwell de Andrade (IP) and Joaquim Vieira Peres, Philipp Melcher and Dzhamil Oda (competition), among others.
The transaction is subject to clearance by the competition authorities.
