The list of nominees for the "FT Innovative Lawyers Awards Europe 2023", promoted by the renowned Financial Times, was recently released.
Morais Leitão is in the running for two awards in the categories of "Innovative Lawyers in Supporting Refugees" and "Innovative Lawyers in Private Capital", for its participation in the combined ABBs of EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (equity raise 1bn) and EDP Renováveis, S.A. (equity raise 1bn).
The FT promotes these awards annually, with the aim of recognising the innovation and originality introduced in European business law in its different dimensions, both in legal practice and in the internal organisation of the support areas of the firms.
The winners will be announced on 21 September at the Natural History Museum in London.
