Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados [Morais Leitão] won two European awards this evening in London by Benchmark Litigation, a directory of the renowned Euromoney group.
Morais Leitão was named Firm of the Year and Francisco Cortez, partner of Morais Leitão, was awarded as Lawyer of the Year.
This is the first time that Benchmark Litigation has awarded European prizes in a gradual expansion of this ranking to the Asian and Atlantic markets. The evaluation is based on recommendations and interviews of peers and clients of each lawyer, as well as in a dense research and analysis to the respective market and the processes that have carried out.
In the first edition, were considered 134 firms and 660 lawyers, with inquiries to 1534 clients. In the Portuguese market, Morais Leitão and Francisco Cortez received the highest distinctions among the nominees.
