For the second year running, Morais Leitão has consolidated its prominent position in the "EMEA Green" guide, promoted by the British directory The Legal 500.
The Green Guide highlights ML's commitment to ongoing ESG and sustainability projects:
"...the firm is currently advising a consortium of 13 companies composed of EDP, Galp, Engie, and others on a circa €400m major green hydrogen production project in Sines, Portugal, which will have the estimated capacity of 100MW. In another ongoing highlight, the team is assisting OW Offshore with the procedure for attaining a private use of maritime space title for the commercial operation of offshore renewable energy projects on the Portuguese coast."
The guide also highlights the excellent work of lawyers Rui de Oliveira Neves and João Tiago Silveira in ESG and sustainability matters.
Morais Leitão's presence in the "EMEA Green" guide reflects its commitment to sustainability and its role as a reference in providing legal advice to companies and stakeholders operating in areas such as energy, the environment and human rights.
