On 1 December 2022, Morais Leitão promoted 20 of its trainee lawyers to associates.

Pereira Coutinho, Beatriz Lopes da Silva, Brígida Magalhães Malheiro, Edgar da Silva Palma, Francisca Costa Gonçalves, Francisca Osório de Castro, Inês Carreiro, João Cortes Martins, José Maria Cortes, Luís Possolo, Manuel Bragança Santos, Maria do Carmo Leitmann, Mariana Carreto de Araújo, Paula Judith Maria, Pedro Charters, Salvador Bento, Salvador Sampaio Fontes, Sao Kan Wong, Sofia Araújo Matias and Sofia Pinheiro join the firm after concluding their internship at the Portuguese Bar Association with distinction and meritorious performance.
The new associates join the firm’s banking and finance, litigation and arbitration, corporate, commercial and M&A, criminal, misdemeanour and compliance, european law and competition, tax, corporate, real estate and tourism, and public law, urban planning and environment teams.
