Morais Leitão was awarded the EFR - Empresa Familiarmente Responsável - certification, which distinguishes the implementation of good practices in conciliation between personal and professional life, by Fundacíon MásFamília and the Associação Cristã de Empresários e Gestores (ACEGE).
The 2021 certificate was delivered on 27 June, in a ceremony in Lisbon, which brought together almost 40 companies operating in Portugal, from various sectors, representing around 50,000 workers.
We obtained the certification for the first time in 2018, having been the first law firm certified in Portugal. The certification resulted from a demanding process of analysis and assessment, qualitative and quantitative, which included surveys, interviews and adaptation of policies. In 2021, we upgraded our rating to "B", and we will be recognised as an especially proactive entity in this area.
This certification is recognition of the effort made in promoting a healthy working environment that respects the conciliation between professional, personal and family life, something that is reflected in an ambitious plan of measures, in areas as important as work quality, time and space flexibility, family support, personal and professional development and equal opportunities.
