On behalf of Morais Leitão Claudia Santos Cruz, António Magalhães Ramalho and Beatriz Beatriz de Macedo Vitorino attended Portugal Shipping Week 2022.
The showcases Portugal as a global shipping and maritime logistics centre and offers foreign shipowners and representatives from every maritime discipline a unique and exciting opportunity to develop important new commercial relationships with the leaders of the Portuguese maritime sector as well as major international players.
The conference brought together leading maritime and energy organisations; all major Portuguese Ports and as well as a number of international shipping players. The event focuses largely on the impact of the marine energy transition for shipping and ports and included the participation of António Costa Silva, Minister of Economy and the Sea. Beatriz, a consultant at ML, also represented the association Concórdia, a commercial arbitration centre seeking to focus on the resolution of maritime related disputes. Beatriz is advisor to the Association’s Executive Council.
