Morais Leitão, in partnership with NOVA School of Law, is promoting the first edition of the workshop "Legal Innovation Through Design Thinking", on March 25th (at NOVA School of Law) and March 26th (at Morais Leitão).
The main aim of the initiative is to reflect on how the study of design thinking can be useful in analysing and building solutions to legal problems.
The workshop has three fundamental parts:
1. Firstly, the students learn the basic principles of design thinking and how these principles apply to law.
2. The group works as a team to design a solution to a specific legal challenge identified by Reshape. Students interact directly with Reshape's stakeholders.
3. Final presentation to a panel of experts (NSL, Morais Leitão, & Industry Mentors).
Legal Design is an innovative approach that brings together law, design and technology to make the legal field more accessible, understandable and user-friendly.
