In its last edition "The American Lawyer" magazine published a special report on Portugal entitled “Portugal: Moving Forward”.
Nuno Galvão Teles, partner and coordinator of one of the corporate and commercial and capital markets teams of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva made several statements on the potential direct consequences of the privatisation process in the legal market and emphasised that privatisations that will generate more work for law firms. The Portuguese Government is imposing several structural changes to make the country more attractive, including changes in the banking and insurance areas and even in the competition and regulation areas.
