Pedro de Gouveia e Melo, a partner in Morais Leitão's European Law and Competition team, has been elected secretary-general of the Portuguese Association of European Law (APDE) for the 2024-2026 term.
APDE, which is now marking its 40th anniversary, is dedicated to publicising European law in Portugal. In addition, as a member of the International Federation of European Law (FIDE), APDE ensures that Portuguese legal circles are connected to the ongoing debate on the most important current issues in the European Union.
