Ricardo Andrade Amaro, senior associate and member of the corporate and commercial and capital markets team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, representing the firm and Angola Legal Circle Advogados, is present on two panels of the conference “Powering West Africa Strategic Summit” that takes place in Luanda on 13 and 14 August, 2013.
The conference with around 80 delegates attending from several African countries (Angola, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Congo and Tanzania) has as its purpose a discussion on the development of the electric systems of the mentioned countries with a particular focus on Angola and on the use of renewable energy as an alternative to traditional energy sources (biomass).
