Rui Ribeiro Lima, a partner at Morais Leitão, is taking part in "Pod Esclarecer" today to talk about the new decree-law on Simplex Urbanístico, which comes into force on 4 March.
"Pod Esclarecer" is an initiative of the Lisbon Regional Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.
Simplex Urbanístico is a programme to simplify and reduce bureaucracy in urban licensing processes. The new decree-law, which comes into force on 4 March, introduces various measures to make it easier to open new businesses, speed up construction and urban rehabilitation and increase the country's competitiveness.
