Last night, in a ceremony in London, Morais Leitão’s team again shone at the "Women in Business Law Awards 2023 EMEA", attributed by Legal Media Group, with the individual recognition of Maria Luísa Cyrne and Joana Granadeiro, alongside the distinction of best national law firm.
Maria Luísa Cyrne, senior associate of the Corporate department and member of the Intellectual Property team, was awarded with the title of “Lawyer of the Year” in “Copyright” and “Media & Entertainment” categories.
Joana Granadeiro, senior associate from the Litigation and Arbitration department, was named the Arbitration Rising Star.
Given the importance of women lawyers in client and case management at Morais Leitão, leading matters of enormous relevance, the firm was once again distinguished as "National Firm of the Year".

Women in Business Law Awards 2023 EMEA recognise law firms in Europe, Middle East and Africa that most promote diversity, equality and inclusion in the practice of law, both through legal advice and projects led by female lawyers, as well as through internal processes and policies.
