Law no. 13/2023 was published on April, 3, amendingthe Portuguese Labour Code and related legislation inimplementation of the, so-called, Decent Work Agenda.The Law will enter into force on 1 May 2023.
The Decent Work Agenda, promulgated by the President of the Republic, establishes a set of measures aimed at improving working conditions and conciliation between personal, family and professional life. The measures comprise changes and the introduction of new provisions in labour legislation and related regimes, which imply the need for companies and organisations to adapt to a greater or lesser extent.
