INCARI | Anuario de Capital Riesgo 2023

Diana Ribeiro Duarte and Pedro Capitão Barbosa signed the chapter dedicated to the Portuguese market in the "Anuario de Capital Riesgo 2023", a publication by INCARI (Instituto de Capital Riesgo).

The chapter entitled "Private Equity Portuguese Market Annual Report 2023" presents the main statistics on the state and evolution of the market, as well as a description of the main national public funding programmes that help support investment in the sector.

In addition, emphasis is placed on the new legislation on asset management, which has effectively transformed the regulatory landscape for private equity. Finally, a brief description of the main transactions involving private equity investors in 2023 (national and international) is provided.
