Rui Patrício contributes to collective work on the 50th anniversary of 25 April

Rui Patrício, partner at Morais Leitão is one of the authors of the collective work 'O Direito nos 50 Anos do 25 de Abril - Anatomia de um Sistema em Transição', published by Almedina.

The book, which will be presented at the Ombudsman's Office in Lisbon on 8 April, celebrates half a century of democratic constitutionalism and promotes a multidisciplinary reflection on the impact of the April Revolution on the Portuguese legal system.

Rui Patrício contributes an article on 'Criminal Publicisation', in which he analyses the increasing relevance of criminal and criminal procedural matters and specific criminal proceedings in the public sphere, as well as the effects this has or could have on legislative, governmental and judicial activities, and the challenges it poses to the liberal and democratic rule of law.
