Ana S. Pereira Coutinho joined the Firm in September 2020.
She is a member of the criminal, regulatory offences and compliance and intellectual property, technology and data protection departments.
Her practice primarily focuses on providing assistance to several companies in adapting and developing new products and services, from a data protection standpoint, as well as creating compliance policies and programs in the field of data protection through conducting internal audits, drafting internal and external policies, and creating or adapting contracts, data processing agreements and mechanism for international data transfers. In this context, Ana S. Pereira Coutinho has specific sector experience in telco, retail and banking.
Additionally, she has advised clients on data protection due diligences and data breaches and plays an active role in monitoring criminal and administrative offence proceedings in this area, providing comprehensive 360-degree support on privacy and data protection matters.
