Joana Maria Andion

Joana Maria Andion joined Morais Leitão in September 2019. She is a member of the firm's intellectual property team, often collaborating with the litigation group, as well as with the corporate team.
Joana has completed two summer internships at Viera de Almeida & Associados in 2017 and 2018 in the areas of litigation and arbitration and intellectual property. She also completed a short-term internship at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, in Madrid, where she worked in the area of intellectual property in 2019.
In addition, since 2023, she has been Co-Chair of the Young Members Committee of LES Spain-Portugal, the regional association that is part of LESI (Licensing Executives Society International) and, in 2022, she obtained the ‘Registered Techonology Transfer Professional’ (RTTP) certificate from the Alliance of Techonology Transfer Professionals (ATTP).
In 2024, Joana Maria Andion was recognised as ‘Copyright Lawyer of the Year’ by the ‘Women in Business Law’ (WIBL) awards attributed by the Legal Media Group.
