Tiago da Costa Andrade joined the Firm in September 2018. He is a member of the criminal, regulatory offences and compliance department. Previously, during his traineeship, in addition to the criminal, regulatory offences and compliance team, he was a member of the corporate, M&A and capital markets team and of the litigation and arbitration department.

Tiago da Costa Andrade provides legal and judicial support on matters of Portuguese, European and International property, economic and financial criminal law, including on fraud, corruption, money laundering and judicial cooperation in criminal matters. Moreover, Tiago frequently assists in regulatory offences procedures related to banking law, capital markets law and audit, and labour law.

Tiago da Costa Andrade was also an Assistant Teacher at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra, as a member of the Criminal Law Department, where he lectured on Criminal Law. Previously, Tiago was a Teaching Assistant, having collaborated in Criminal Procedural Law in the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra.

He is the author of a monography on fraud and published several articles about criminal and regulatory law and procedural law and intervenes in colloquia and international conferences as a guest speaker on those subjects of criminal law, criminal procedure and regulatory law.
