Tomás Barroso de Sousa joined the Firm in September 2018. He is a member of the employment, pensions and immigration department.
Tomás Barroso de Sousa provides consultancy in all areas of employment and social security law, concerning both individual and collective employment relationships.
Acting on behalf of domestic and foreign clients, he participates in several legal due diligence and corporate restructuring processes, advising on the acquisition and sale of companies and business areas.
He also actively intervenes in cases of termination of employment contracts, with particular emphasis on disciplinary proceedings.
At the same time, Tomás has published in the area of Civil Law.
Education
Law Degree (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2017). Master's Degree in Forensics and in Civil Procedure Law (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2020).

Portuguese, English and French.
